High on Mountains started in 2018 as an Instagram account for mountain photography. Today it is a collective of mountain creators from all over the world: since September 2025 the account shares only collabs, posts made by the creators themselves.

What we do
We share the best mountain photos and videos of the creators in the collective with 30,812 followers on Instagram. On this site every collab stays findable: in the creator guide, the archive, the map and the guides to each range and spot.
How a feature works
A creator posts a collab with @highonmountains_official. The post appears on both profiles, and soon after on this site with the creator's username and the place they tagged. The more often you collab, the higher your level: Community, Collective, and Ambassadors, whom we choose together with the creators.
What we stand for
Photos and videos belong to the creators and stay on Instagram. About creators we show only their username and public post figures, and more only when they claim their profile. Private accounts never appear, and anyone can ask to be left out.
For brands and regions
Outdoor brands and tourism boards work with the creators of the collective on campaigns. Most of every budget goes to the creators who make the campaign.
